Drawings

Drawing is my bread and butter. I always loved drawing as a child and grew up reading and later drawing comics which I think of as a building block of my identity and career as an artist.

Experimenting with different mediums and styles is very important to me and the variety within my portfolios is entirely in service of a desire to explore the many different ways I can make a drawing come to life. All of my figure paintings began as countless sketches and drawings of models, my pyrography, prints and topographical paintings all share a drawing-like (or drawn) quality in their aesthetic. Put simply, drawing is the common denominator in all of my art.
